Job summary

ZS Associates is seeking an AI Engineer to design and develop scalable, distributed software solutions with a focus on LLM-based pipelines and data-driven decision making. You will own architecture, implement RAG patterns, and ensure robust DevOps practices across AWS, Azure, and Databricks environments.

The role requires strong Python/JavaScript coding, experience with API frameworks, cloud platforms, and front-end familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong coding skills with Python and JavaScript.
• Experience with API frameworks (FastAPI, Django).
• Proficient in cloud platforms (AWS, Databricks, Azure).
• Infra-as-Code experience (Terraform, CloudFormation).
• Frontend development knowledge (React, Next.js, Tailwind).
• LLM patterns like RAG, Vector DB, Agentic workflows; strong AI tooling experience.
• Experience with LLM APIs and SDKs (OpenAI, Anthropic, AWS Bedrock; LangChain).
• DevOps experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and AWS services.

Responsibilities

• Own architecture design and development of scalable distributed software systems.
• Translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Ensure code quality and timely delivery with efficient resource use.
• Implement LLM pipelines using RAG and agentic workflows.
• Oversee full SDLC: analysis, design, development, testing, deployment.
• Leverage AWS/Azure and Databricks components to support systems.
• Collaborate across teams and mentor on best practices.
