Koch Energy Services, LLC is seeking a Data Scientist to join our Natural Gas trading team in Houston, TX. You will define and drive the vision for deploying AI, data management, and analytics to empower market analysts and the business.

You will prototype data pipelines, models, dashboards, and AI-enabled tools, partner with IT, and translate business needs into technical requirements while ensuring governance and reproducibility across the desk.

Qualifications

Experience leading cross-functional project teams to deliver projects within timelines.
Experience developing data and analytics solutions using Python or similar languages, including data pipelines and automated processes.
Experience working with databases and SQL.
Ability translate business needs into technical requirements and partner with IT/engineering to implement solutions.

Responsibilities

Define and champion a multi-year vision for AI, data, and analytics to create commercial advantage for the trading desk.
Coordinate strategy and execution across capabilities to deliver initiatives faster.
Serve as liaison between business and IT to translate needs into technical requirements.
Prototype and build data pipelines, models, dashboards, and AI-enabled tools.
Train analysts on new capabilities and drive adoption.
