Job summary

Lennox International in Richardson, TX is offering an AI Product Management & Analytics Intern position. You will collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, and stakeholders to identify opportunities, define requirements, and help deliver AI-powered solutions.

Successful interns may receive a full-time offer after graduation. Relocation and travel may be required. The program provides learning, mentorship, and exposure to cutting-edge AI and analytics within a global HVAC company.

Qualifications

  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s in CS, Data Science, AI, Analytics, MIS, or related field.
  • Proficiency in Python or SQL.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Experience with Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.
  • Understanding of AI or Generative AI concepts.
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
  • Strong written and verbal communication; cross-functional teamwork.
  • Growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies.

Responsibilities

  • Support product discovery activities with stakeholder interviews and requirement gathering.
  • Define MVPs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and roadmaps for AI initiatives.
  • Document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to prioritize opportunities and drive project execution.
  • Analyze data to identify opportunities for process improvements and AI adoption.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to measure adoption and KPIs.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:
Product Management & Business Analysis
  • Support product discovery activities, including stakeholder interviews, requirement gathering, and user journey mapping.
  • Assist in defining MVPs, user stories, acceptance criteria, and product roadmaps for AI initiatives.
  • Help document business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Collaborate with business and technology teams to prioritize opportunities and drive project execution.
Data Analytics & Insights
  • Analyze business data to identify opportunities for process improvements, automation, and AI adoption.
  • Develop dashboards and reports to measure adoption, business value, and operational KPIs.
  • Create data visualizations and presentations that communicate insights to technical and non-technical audiences.
  • Support data-driven decision-making through research, analysis, and reporting.
Artificial Intelligence & Innovation
  • Evaluate Generative AI use cases and benchmark solutions against business requirements.
  • Participate in the design, testing, and rollout of AI-powered tools, including chatbots, agent‑assist solutions, content generation tools, and sales enablement applications.
  • Support experimentation and proof‑of‑concept initiatives focused on emerging AI technologies.
  • Research industry trends and best practices related to AI, analytics, and digital transformation.
User Experience & Continuous Improvement
  • Conduct user research and gather feedback to support continuous product improvement.
  • Assist with measuring user adoption, satisfaction, and business impact.
  • Help identify opportunities to optimize processes, workflows, and customer experiences through technology.
  • Support change management and communication efforts related to technology implementations.
Team & Project Support
  • Collaborate with Product Managers, Data Scientists, Developers, and Business Stakeholders on strategic initiatives.
  • Present project findings and recommendations to business and technology leaders.
  • Support project planning, documentation, testing, and implementation activities.
  • Participate in an end‑of‑summer capstone project showcasing key learnings and business impact.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR:
  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence, Analytics, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Industrial Engineering, Software Engineering, Management Information Systems (MIS), or a related field
  • Basic proficiency in Python, SQL, or similar analytical programming languages
  • Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills with the ability to interpret data and identify opportunities
  • Experience using data analysis and visualization tools such as Excel, Power BI, Tableau, or similar platforms
  • Understanding of AI, Machine Learning, or Generative AI concepts
  • Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a cross‑functional team environment
  • Strong attention to detail, organization, and project management skills
  • Self‑starter with a growth mindset and eagerness to learn new technologies
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with Generative AI tools and applications
  • Hands‑on experience with Python, SQL, Power BI, Tableau, or other analytics platforms
  • Understanding of machine learning, data science, or software development fundamentals
  • Exposure to product management concepts, including user stories, requirement gathering, and MVP development
  • Participation in hackathons, research projects, student organizations, or leadership programs
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Teams

What We Are Looking For

Requires a high school diploma or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Entry Level. Developing professional knowledge in the area of expertise. Solid written and verbal communication skills. Proficient in Microsoft Office.

What We Offer

Compensation: This is an hourly non‑exempt role. The starting pay range for this role and market is between $22.50 pay rate – $25.00/hour. This rate is based on the intern's current year in their respective university programs. Graduate students may receive a higher rate of pay based on their year in school. Employees in this role are also eligible to earn overtime when they work more than 40 hours in a week (or as otherwise required by state law).
