Job summary

Hinoki is building an AI-native platform that fixes real exposure by mapping environments in real time and driving remediation to verified resolution. We seek an engineer with 3–6 years of experience to own core infrastructure and possibly lead agents orchestration or the data layer that models environments live.

You will work in a TS/C++ stack, shipping production-grade systems with strong fault tolerance and clear provenance for every action.

Qualifications

• Three to six years of engineering experience.
• AI agents in production with multi-step reasoning, tool use, memory and failure handling.
• Distributed systems with leases, retries, idempotency and fault containment.
• Production depth in AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• AI-native workflows using Claude Code, Codex or Cursor.
• High agency: quickly shipping from plan; own the outcome.
• Preference for small, reversible changes over large refactors.

Responsibilities

• Own core platform infrastructure with broad ownership.
• Orchestrate research agents and the data layer for real-time environment modeling.
• Develop verification surfaces to ensure correctness before customer delivery.
• Build reporting surfaces translating work into CIS0-level impact.
