Job summary

MaintainX seeks an experienced platform/infrastructure engineer who will own the internal agent infrastructure, reproducible development environments, and the MCP tool registry for scalable AI agents.

You will collaborate with product and platform teams, run enablement sessions and office hours, and define standards so teams reuse capabilities across repositories.

This role demands hands-on coding across Node.js, Python, and container tooling.

Qualifications

• Proven experience building scalable developer platforms.
• Hands-on with containerized environments and CI/CD pipelines.
• Experience with AI coding tools is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Own the infrastructure enabling reproducible dev environments and agent orchestration.
• Build and operate the full agent infra stack and MCP tool registry.
• Design reproducible environments for dev, CI, and agent runs.
• Integrate agents with internal/external tooling for triggers and context.
• Instrument runs with OpenTelemetry to produce traces and observability.
• Set MCP tool development standards and enable cross-repo reuse.
• Collaborate with product and platform teams, delivering enablement and office hours.
