Job summary

HackerOne is seeking a Senior Software Engineer, Platform to advance AI-driven security capabilities and the Hai agent within a cloud-based execution platform. You will design end-to-end components, collaborate with Product, Security Research, and Customer Success, and leverage AI tooling to enhance vulnerability discovery and response.

This role requires 5+ years in software engineering, with weekly in-office collaboration and a strong emphasis on scalable distributed systems and responsible AI

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years as a software engineer.
• Willing to come to the office once per week (Thursday).
• Experience with cloud services (AWS, GCP, or Azure).
• Experience deploying distributed systems with AI/ML models.
• Familiarity with AI safety and responsible AI practices.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to evolution of the cloud-based AI platform and Hai agent.
• Design core components for end-to-end execution of security agents.
• Collaborate with Product, Security Research and Customer Success.
• Develop APIs for secure interactions between AI models and services.
• Apply data-driven decision making and measurement to improve performance.
