Job summary

Matter Intelligence is hiring a developer to build production-grade AI agents and tooling at the intersection of hardware, AI, and earth observation. You will work across sensor engineers, ML researchers, sales, and leadership, owning problems end-to-end from discovery to deployment.

This role emphasizes autonomy, strong CS fundamentals, and the ability to ship reliable AI-driven automation that stakeholders rely on. Onsite in San Francisco with strong collaboration across teams.

Qualifications

• BS in CS or equivalent practical experience.
• Demonstrated ability to build and ship production software with clean code and version control.
• Hands-on experience with LLM APIs and agent frameworks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, test, and maintain production-grade AI agents and tools.
• Architect reliable, secure, observable, and maintainable agent systems.
• Own rollout, adoption, and iteration with measurable impact.
