Job summary

Local World is building a new engineering team focused on AI agents and agentic applications. We seek a Software Engineer to join early, contribute to end-to-end AI agent development, and work closely with business teams in a fast-moving environment.

The role emphasizes hands-on building with MCP/A2A, API integrations, and modern tooling. Denver onsite with relocation/sign-on assistance for the right candidate is considered.

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience building AI agents, ideally using MCP and/or A2A.
• Exposure to SAP CAP and/or SAP BTP.
• Experience with APIs, integrations, JSON, and modern application development.
• Ability to demonstrate something you’ve actually built, professionally, personally, or academically.

Responsibilities

• Design and build new AI agents using MCP and/or A2A frameworks.
• Take agent projects from problem through design, development, and deployment.
• Maintain and enhance production AI agents.
• Integrate agents with enterprise systems via REST APIs and data sources.
