Teradata is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to design and deploy AI-native agentic workflows across its AI Platform. You will architect AI-driven systems that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, applications, and cloud infrastructure.

The role emphasizes building agents with guardrails, integrating LLMs into production workflows, and advancing observability tooling and CI/CD automation. Collaboration with engineering teams is essential for measurable reliability improvements.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of experience in software engineering with AI/ML systems in production.
• Proven experience building AI agents, LLM-driven systems, or autonomous workflows.
• Strong programming in Python (required) and Java or Go.
• Experience with distributed systems, telemetry data, and observability architectures.
• Foundational AI skills including prompt engineering, evaluation, and agent orchestration.

Responsibilities

• Lead design and development of AI-native agentic workflows to enhance productivity and observability across Teradata’s AI Platform.
• Build AI-driven systems that reason, analyze, and act across telemetry, applications, and cloud infrastructure.
• Architect and deploy AI agents for observability, automated root cause analysis, anomaly detection, and productivity.
• Design workflows integrating telemetry pipelines and cloud stacks.
• Develop AI tooling to accelerate development velocity and reduce toil.
• Apply LLMs and reasoning frameworks to automate complex debugging and diagnostics.
• Drive AI-native DevOps practices across apps, tooling, and platform engineering.
• Collaborate across engineering to embed intelligent automation into CI/CD and support workflows.
• Apply foundational AI skills to unlock productivity and innovation across the workforce.
• Shape how Teradata builds, monitors, and operates its AI-powered platform with measurable improvements.
