Job summary

ISG is seeking an AI Advisory Senior Consultant to design, develop, and deploy AI-enabled training solutions. You will lead training technology engagements, own WalkMe deployments, and serve as the primary technical contact for clients.

The role blends hands-on development with client-facing leadership to deliver measurable business value. Responsibilities include building AI-enabled applications, automating content workflows, and integrating AI with training platforms.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in technical consulting, solution architecture, or software development.
• Proven track record leading enterprise technology implementations end-to-end.
• Experience managing client engagements with scope, budget, and timelines.
• Hands-on experience implementing Digital Adoption Platforms (WalkMe or similar).
• Background in learning technologies or educational tech is preferred.

• Experience with prompt engineering and tuning large language models.
• Knowledge of LMS and LXP concepts.

Position Overview

The AI Advisory Senior Consultant is a strategic technical leader responsible for designing, developing, and deploying custom AI-enabled solutions that accelerate training content development and enhance digital adoption capabilities. This role combines hands-on technical development with client-facing engagement leadership, owning the delivery of training technology implementations including WalkMe deployments and custom AI-enabled solutions. The position bridges advanced technical expertise with consulting acumen to deliver innovative internal tools and go-to-market solutions that drive measurable business value for clients and the organization.

Responsibilities

Engagement Leadership & Delivery

• Lead and manage training technology engagements from discovery through implementation and hypercare
• Own the delivery of WalkMe implementations, including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, testing, and deployment
• Serve as primary technical point of contact for clients during training technology and AI solution deployments
• Manage engagement workstreams, timelines, resources, and deliverables to ensure successful project outcomes
• Lead change management and adoption activities for implemented solutions
• Conduct training and knowledge transfer sessions for client teams on deployed technologies
• Provide post-implementation support and optimization recommendations

AI Solution Development

• Design and develop custom AI-enabled applications and tools to accelerate training content creation, curation, and delivery
• Build intelligent automation solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of training content development workflows
• Create proof-of-concepts and production-ready solutions that leverage generative AI, machine learning, and natural language processing
• Develop APIs and integration layers to connect AI capabilities with existing training platforms and systems

Digital Adoption Platform Integration

• Lead technical implementation and customization of WalkMe Digital Adoption Platform solutions
• Design and implement intelligent user guidance solutions that leverage AI to personalize digital adoption experiences
• Create technical frameworks that enable scalable deployment of DAP solutions across multiple applications and platforms

Technical Leadership & Innovation

• Serve as technical advisor to TaaS leadership on emerging AI technologies and their applications to training solutions
• Evaluate and recommend new technologies, tools, and platforms that can enhance service delivery capabilities
• Establish technical standards, best practices, and development methodologies for AI solution development
• Stay current with AI/ML advancements and identify opportunities to apply cutting-edge technologies to training challenges

Go-to-Market Solution Development

• Partner with business development and delivery teams to design AI-enabled solutions that address market opportunities
• Develop scalable, reusable solution components that can be deployed across multiple client engagements
• Create technical documentation, architecture diagrams, and solution blueprints for go-to-market offerings
• Support sales cycles with technical expertise, demonstrations, and proof-of-concept development

Client Engagement & Consulting

• Lead technical discovery sessions with clients to understand requirements and design appropriate solutions
• Provide expert consulting on AI strategy, digital adoption best practices, and training technology optimization
• Translate complex technical concepts into business value propositions for non-technical stakeholders
• Mentor and guide client technical teams on implementation and adoption of developed solutions

Technical Skills

• Experience with modern web technologies (HTML5, CSS3, REST APIs, JSON)
• Hands‑on experience with AI/ML technologies, including integration with LLM APIs (OpenAI, Anthropic, etc.)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and serverless architectures
• Experience with version control systems (Git) and CI/CD practices
• Understanding of API development and integration patterns

Required Skillsets

• This is a remote role based in the US
• 5+ years of experience in technical consulting, solution architecture, or software development
• Proven track record of leading and delivering enterprise technology implementations from end-to-end
• Experience managing client engagements with responsibility for scope, budget, timeline, and quality
• Hands-on experience implementing Digital Adoption Platforms (WalkMe preferred) or similar technologies
• Demonstrated success delivering custom technical solutions in enterprise environments
• Background in learning technologies, training systems, or educational technology strongly preferred
• Experience building and deploying AI-enabled solutions in production environments
• Demonstrated ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions and lead their implementation
• Experience with prompt engineering and fine-tuning large language models
• Knowledge of instructional design principles and learning science
• Familiarity with learning management systems (LMS) and learning experience platforms (LXP)
• Experience with Python or other programming languages
• Background in rapid prototyping and agile development methodologies
• Understanding of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design principles
• Professional certifications in relevant technologies (AWS, Azure, specific platforms)

Education

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field
• MBA or another advanced degree (s) desirable
