Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Support and/or manage projects which generate client revenue.
• Sales and marketing collateral development, IP development, solution development, and proposal drafting.
• Leading development and execution of digital transformation and sourcing strategies including assessments, capability models, governance, roadmaps, and value realization.
• Interacts directly with senior client and technology services provider executives.
• Assists and/or leads client data, platform, AI, and sourcing strategy reviews and development.
• IT assessment projects related to specific technologies and architecture ensuring alignment with business requirements.
• Develops strategy/tactics to move suppliers to desired outcomes.
• Leads planning and development of all project deliverables, staffing, budgets, and risk management.

Position Overview

This role, reporting into Americas Consulting, supports one o r multiple engagements simultaneously with a small to mid-size team of ISG consultants and advisors. These engagements may be part of a broader program-level engagement, may focus on a specific area, or may span widely across technology, or into components of business operations.

This role will also provide substantial support for the development of the Data Advisory portion of the AI Advisory practice, with a focus on sales and delivery enablement.

Responsibilities

You will work and deliver at the strategic, tactical, and transactional consulting levels.

• Responsible to support and/or manage projects which generate client revenue
• Sales and marketing collateral development, IP development, solution development, and proposal drafting
• Leading development and execution of digital transformation and sourcing strategies through initial assessments, needs analysis, business capability models, workload analysis, governance analysis, gap analysis, tools analysis, portfolio analysis, project plans, market capabilities, roadmap development, negotiation, outcome management and value realization
• Facilitates, evaluates, and confirms the needs of the client business and assist in the assessment of how ISG can solution to provide optimal business benefit
• Interacts directly with senior client and technology services provider executives
• Assists and/or leads client business, data, platform, AI, and/or sourcing strategy review and development
• IT assessment projects related to specific technologies (e.g., AI, data platforms, etc.), architecture, process, and design ensuring effective alignment of investment with business requirements
• Serve as trusted advisor to clients and technology service providers in areas of technology expertise, sourcing, project management, financial modeling, executive relationships, leadership, negotiation, administration and marketing
• Independently develops project work plans and customizes to meet client specifications as well as estimates staffing, task duration, and client staffing requirements
• Perform data metrics analysis, comparison with market data, current state assessments, change readiness, gap and opportunity analysis, delivery model alternatives analysis, and a service delivery strategy
• Develops complex financial models and possesses a thorough knowledge of client budgets, the budgeting process, corporate finance at large, or geographically dispersed clients
• Develops, leads, and executes all components of sourcing agreements and associated transactions including the services, financial, performance, resource, governance, service delivery and management, and contract terms
• Assists in the development of strategy or tactics to move suppliers to the client-desired outcome
• Assists post-assessment transactional work including managing the sourcing lifecycle through vendor selection
• Leads the planning and the development of all project deliverables and assumes overall responsibility for staffing, budget, work plans, scope, project milestones, issues management and risk management utilizing ISG’s methods, tools, and templates
• Other duties as assigned

Required Skillsets

• Knowledge creating and understanding business capability models, performing value stream analysis to create business architecture that fits needs

Education

• Bachelor of Arts or Science degree in a technical or scientific field
• MBA or another advanced degree (s) desirable
