Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a compassionate Live-In Caregiver to support residents in a home-like setting in New York. You will assist with daily activities, mobility, meals, and medication reminders, while ensuring safety and dignified care.

A strong emphasis is placed on companionship and respectful engagement with residents in their living environment. The role requires an active NYS Home Health Aide certification, completion of the HHATP program, and at least 1 year of caregiving

Qualifications

• Active NYS Home Health Aide certification required.
• Completion of approved HHATP program.
• 1+ year practical caregiving experience preferred.

Responsabilités

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Monitor health changes and report concerns promptly.
• Ensure a safe environment and assist with transfers and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
• Complete accurate care and timekeeping documentation.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and required training.

What We're Looking For:

• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care
• Reliable transportation and ability to provide live-in coverage

Pay Range: 19.75 - 24.75

In addition to base compensation, Sunrise may offer discretionary and/or non-discretionary bonuses. The eligibility to receive such a bonus will depend on the employee's position, plan/program offered by Sunrise at the time, and required performance pursuant to the plan/program.
