Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living is seeking a Live-In Aide to provide around-the-clock support to clients in their homes. You will assist with daily living activities, monitor health, and ensure safety while delivering compassionate care.

Qualified candidates have NYS Home Health Aide certification, HHATP program completion, and at least 1 year of caregiving experience. The role offers a competitive pay range and benefits.

Qualifications

• Active NYS Home Health Aide certification is required.
• Completion of approved HHATP program is required.
• 1+ year practical caregiving experience preferred.
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable attitude.
• Ability to assist with mobility and personal care.
• Reliable transportation and ability to provide live-in coverage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily living activities including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility.
• Support meal preparation, feeding, and medication reminders.
• Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and errands.
• Monitor health changes and report concerns promptly.
• Ensure a safe environment and assist with transfers and fall prevention.
• Provide companionship, conversation, and emotional support.
• Accompany clients to appointments and social outings.
• Complete accurate care and timekeeping documentation.
• Maintain compliance with state regulations and required training.

Pay Range:

19.75 - 24.75
