AH-64 D/E Instructor Pilot "W-TRS" , Kuwait City Kuwait

Job Description:

V2X GTS seeks an Instructor Pilot (IP) to support the Kuwait Air Force (KAF) at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait. The IP will provide instructor and operator support, oversee TADSS, and report to the V2X-GTS Program Manager in-country. Applicants must be US citizens with proof of citizenship and a valid US passport.

Required Hours:

Standard workweek is five days, up to eight hours daily at OCONUS sites.

Responsibilities:

• Provide instructor and oversight support for KAF TADSS.
• Deliver advanced AH-64D/E flight instruction per Army standards, requiring prior IP experience.
• Conduct training at Ali Al Salem Air Base, Kuwait, including Kuwaiti students.
• Prepare simulator utilization and scheduling reports.
• Support briefings and demonstrations for the host nation.
• Instruct and evaluate students in classroom, flight, and simulator settings.
• Conduct pre-flight, in-flight, and post-flight briefings, including AARs.
• Perform end-of-stage check rides.
• Support instruction on aircraft systems, emergency procedures, and mission scenarios.
• Ensure proper flight planning, briefing, and debriefing for aircrews.
• Develop training SOPs and maintain familiarity with all relevant publications and regulations.
• Assist with maintenance assessments of TADSS equipment.
• Coordinate with local maintenance and support operational readiness.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor’s preferred.
• Graduate of US Army AH-64D/E Instructor Pilot course.
• At least 5 years as an aviator, with recent AH-64D/E flight within 12 months.
• Minimum 1000 flight hours and 250 as Instructor Pilot in AH-64D/E.
• Computer literate and able to support travel.
• Knowledge of military flight training bases and strong communication skills.

Certifications:

• Current FAA second-class Medical Certificate or Army Flight Duty Medical Exam.

Additional Requirements:

• Physical ability to access and operate training devices and aircraft.
• Ability to obtain Kuwait work permit and residency.
• Valid US driver’s license and ability to acquire Kuwait driver’s license.
• Travel readiness and compliance with safety policies.
• US passport with at least 2 years validity.
