Job summary

Silgan Dispensing Systems seeks a warehouse/ materials operator to manage material flow between the warehouse and production lines. You will operate forklifts, monitor AGV activity, and update inventory using barcode systems to support production schedules.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate inventory management, and responsive coordination with shipping, receiving, and production teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• GED or equivalent.
• Ability to perform basic math and read instructions.
• Experience with warehouse operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate forklift to move material to/from production.
• Monitor AGV activities and coordinate with production, shipping, and receiving.
• Record and correct inventory using barcode scanners and ProTraQ.
• Re-issue/cancel work orders and adjust inventory as needed.
• Troubleshoot and log AGV issues; intervene when necessary.
• Load/unload trailers and monitor conveyors.
