Job summary

Crown Equipment Corporation in New Bremen, Ohio, is seeking an engineer to design and develop Automated Guided Vehicle (AGV) systems, including electro-mechanical and software controls. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Computer Eng, CS, Mechatronics, or Industrial Controls.
• 0–2 years of electro-mechanical/AGV systems experience.
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to travel 0–5% and travel locally.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering expertise for design and development of AGV systems.
• Develop system concepts into functional prototypes and software.
• Perform performance analysis, risk assessments, and FMEAs.
• Document design, progress, and communicate results; work fully onsite.
