Job summary

Hughes Brothers Construction, Inc. is seeking an AGTEK/CAD Technician to support civil estimates and project planning in Central Florida. The role involves quantity take-offs for earthwork, utilities, and roadways, using AGTEK, AutoCAD, HCSS, Bluebeam, and MS Project.

You will assist estimating and project management with proposals, change orders, and bid quantities, and prepare exhibits/drawings for bids. Strong reading of drawings and organizational skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Proficiency with AGTEK, AutoCAD, HCSS, Bluebeam, and Microsoft Project.
• Able to read and interpret construction blueprints and drawings.
• High school diploma or higher.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform quantity take-offs for earthwork, underground utilities and roadways.
• Prepare estimates and assist with proposals, change orders, and bid quantities.
• Prepare exhibits/drawings to accompany bid packages.
• Perform clerical duties and maintain electronic project files.
