Job summary

BarnTools LLC in Iowa is seeking a motivated Iowa State University student to join as a Customer Support & AgTech Intern. This internship blends agriculture with technology as you work directly with customers and internal teams to troubleshoot problems, test products, analyze data, and identify opportunities to improve our solutions.

You will help customers with technical questions, device setup, software configuration, and field deployments.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree at Iowa State University, preferably in agriculture, animal science, agricultural engineering, technology, or related field.
• Interest in agriculture-technology intersection and eagerness to learn.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills; ability to work independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Support customers with technical questions, setup, and software configuration.
• Help customers use BarnTools hardware, mobile apps, and web software.
• Prepare and ship customer orders; some light physical activity required.
• Assist with field testing, deployments, and customer visits.
• Analyze customer and product data to identify issues and improvements.
• Communicate feedback to Product, Engineering, Sales, and Customer Success teams.
• Assist Sales with trade shows, demonstrations, and enablement activities.
• Take ownership of problems and drive them to resolution.
