Job summary

gpac is seeking a Sales Agronomist to drive growth by recommending seed, fertilizer, and herbicide solutions to growers. You will build lasting relationships and manage a sales territory through proactive prospecting and exceptional customer service.

You will prepare compelling presentations, contracts, and proposals, and collaborate with agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success. Stay current on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection, and Precision Ag while

Qualifications

• Agronomy sales experience preferred.
• Existing book of business preferred, but not required.
• Degree in Agronomy/Agriculture preferred or equivalent experience.
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and with a team.

Responsibilities

• Make seed, fertilizer, and herbicide recommendations to growers.
• Build and maintain strong long-term customer relationships to promote repeat business.
• Manage and grow a sales territory through prospecting and customer service.
• Prepare sales presentations, contracts, and proposals to ensure successful transactions.
• Work alongside agronomy staff to support daily operations and customer success.
• Keep up to date on agronomy services, seed technology, crop protection products, and Precision Ag technology.
• Forecast product and supply needs on a monthly and annual basis.
