Job summary

Wabash Valley Service Company in Grayville, IL offers a Spring 2027 agronomy operations internship under the GROWMARK Exploring Agriculture program. You will train and assist with general agronomy functions to learn the FS and GROWMARK system and prepare for a future career.

The internship runs 9–10 weeks over the Spring/Summer season; candidates must be pursuing a degree and be able to work in a team and independently. Travel and a valid driver’s license may be required.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree/certification and in good standing at start.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Strong communication and customer focus.
• Valid driver's license and willing to travel; CDL preferred.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assist with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Build professional relationships with FS locations and customers.
• Operate field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Apply crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gain understanding and experience with ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
