Job summary

Ag-Land FS, Inc in Tremont, IL is offering a Summer 2027 Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern role under the GROWMARK system. The internship trains in general agronomy functions to learn the FS system and prepares for a future career.

You will gain hands-on experience in field operations, assist with maintenance and repair of equipment, and visit FS locations and customers to build professional relationships while learning crop monitoring technologies and practices.

Qualifications

• Pursuing degree or certification in a relevant field.
• Ability to work independently and in a team setting.
• Strong communication and decision-making abilities.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment and technology for scouting.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
• Gains understanding of ordering, receiving, and inventory control.
