Job summary

Heritage FS, Inc. is offering a GROWMARK Exploring Agriculture Agronomy Operations Intern position for Summer 2027 in Gilman, IL. The internship runs 9–10 weeks, requiring a pursuing student who will train under location management and gain hands-on agronomy experience.

Salary is $16/hour with a focus on field operations, equipment maintenance, crop monitoring, and customer relations. Eligible interns may participate in a 401(k) plan and related benefits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university.
• Ability to work independently and in a team.
• Valid driver's license and willingness to travel.

Responsibilities

• Hands-on experience in agronomy field and operations.
• Assists with facility and equipment maintenance and repair.
• Visits FS locations and customers building professional relationships.
• Operates field research and crop monitoring equipment.
• Applies crop nutrition and crop protection products.
