Job summary

Keystone Cooperative in Covington, VA is seeking a general backup to the Applicators. You will support operations with lot maintenance, product receiving and delivery, and groundskeeping.

You will operate tender trucks, assist with equipment maintenance, ensure safety compliance, and communicate daily activities to the location manager. This is a fast-paced role requiring a flexible, proactive team player.

Qualifications

• CDL preferred (Class A or B) or ability to obtain Ag CDL.
• Strong verbal and written communications skills.
• Excellent time management, prioritization, and judgment skills.
• Possess a positive attitude, high energy, and focused attention to detail.
• Must have a high sense of urgency and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong customer service and team player attitude.
• Ability to work extended hours during busy seasons.
• Hazmat endorsement a plus.
• Acceptable driving history.

Responsibilities

• Assist with outbound and inbound Agronomy products.
• Operate tender trucks to provide product to custom application equipment.
• Ensure safety compliance.
• Assist in equipment maintenance.
• Assist in housekeeping and maintenance of facility grounds including mowing, spraying weeds, and moving snow.
• Communicate daily activities, needs and accomplishments to the location manager.
• Prepare and maintain records in accordance with regulations and company procedures.
• May assist in measuring inventory of dry fertilizer, NH3, UAN, and other chemicals.
• Serve as a backup to Applicators.
