Job summary

Central Farm Service in Minnesota seeks a team member to handle general labor duties at the agronomy location, ensuring efficient operations and outstanding customer service. Responsibilities include blending, loading, product delivery, paperwork, and inventory management while maintaining a safe, professional appearance.

Qualified candidates will hold a valid CDL with hazmat/tanker endorsements, DOT medical certification, and a clean driving record.

Qualifications

• Valid CDL with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• DOT medical certification.
• Commercial applicators license or ability to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Perform operational functions of the agronomy location including blending, loading, delivery of product and general labor.
• Complete all related paperwork in a timely manner.
• Manage inventory in accordance with company procedures/policies.
• Maintain facility and equipment, keeping it clean and in safe working condition.
• Assist in other departments/locations as needed.
• Ensure services are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations.
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for CSA scores.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections and report maintenance items to supervisor.
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times.
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little supervision.

Position Objective

In this job, the team member will be responsible for general labor duties of agronomy, efficient operations of the location and provide outstanding customer service.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform operational functions of the agronomy location including blending, loading, delivery of product and general labor.
• Complete all related paperwork in a timely manner
• Manage inventory in accordance with company procedures/policies
• Maintain facility and equipment, keeping it clean and in safe working condition
• Assist in other departments/locations as needed
• Ensure services are performed in such a manner as to maintain good customer relations
• Comply with all federal and state Department of Transportation regulations and strive for excellent Comprehensive Safety Analysis (CSA) scores
• Know and follow all company safety policies/procedures. Perform work in a safe manner while observing all traffic laws and all OSHA state and federal safety regulations
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip inspections. Report all maintenance items to supervisor
• Maintain equipment in operational and cleanly appearances at all times
• Represent yourself and CFS professionally at all times in action and appearance – positively enriching the culture of CFS
• Make decisions and follow instructions with little or no supervision
• Perform other duties or projects as requested by management

Requirements

• Maintain a valid Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with hazmat and tanker endorsements.
• Maintain required Department of Transportation (DOT) medical certification
• Maintain insurability requirements in accordance with property and casualty insurance guidelines
• Ability to obtain commercial applicators license
• Acceptable driving record
