Job summary

Innovative Ag Services is offering the 2027 Summer Internship Program in agriculture. This hands-on Agronomy Internship – Level I provides exposure to multiple areas of the agriculture business and daily collaboration with sales and location teams across northeast and central Iowa and southwest Wisconsin.

Interns gain experience in agronomy, seed and Precision Ag activities, and field scouting, while submitting weekly reports and attending training sessions.

Qualifications

• Preferred majors in Agronomy or Crop Science or related field.
• Experience with agricultural software is beneficial.
• Willingness to obtain CDL with hazmat endorsement is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Promote the sales of Innovative Ag Services products and programs.
• Scout assigned producer fields providing written feedback to primary agronomist and producer.
• Communicate regularly with sales and location team members.
• Assist with in-season seed and Precision Ag activities as assigned.
• Submit weekly reports of contacts and customer/competitor activity.
• Participate in planned training and agronomy coordination meetings.
• Resolve concerns/complaints from customers with agronomist and location managers.
