Job summary

AGRILAND FS offers a hands-on internship in agronomy with strong exposure to precision farming and integrated pest management. Trainees will learn crop scouting, observe field conditions, and gain customer-facing experience while using a company vehicle for scouting activities.

Successful interns will develop communication skills, report writing, and professional decision-making as they contribute to field assessments and precision farming coordination, preparing for a career in agriculture

Qualifications

• Foundation in agriculture with ability to learn quickly on the job.
• Proven experience working under little supervision.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Excellent driving record.
• Strong customer service skills.
• Strong maturity demonstrating excellent decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn crop scouting strategies from an experienced agronomy professional.
• Observe crop conditions and pest concerns in contracted acres using scouting and IPM.
• Utilize GPS while scouting.
• Walk fields to obtain the best sample of crop condition.
• Write reports on every field scouted and present to customers and specialists.
• Operate a company vehicle safely and appropriately.
• Assist location team members as assigned.

Employee will:
