Job summary

Insight FS, a GROWMARK member, invites rising college students to join the Summer 2027 Agronomy Intern program, gaining hands-on experience in crop production, field scouting, and precision agriculture while supporting farmer-member customers.

Participants receive mentorship, professional development, networking opportunities, and a capstone project, with travel to FS locations as needed and a commitment of at least 12 weeks starting May 24, 2027.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a degree or certification from a college or university.
• Interest in agronomy, crop production, and agriculture.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Support agronomy operations and assist professionals in serving farmer-member customers.
• Learn crop production practices, crop protection products, and agronomic recommendations.
• Conduct field scouting, monitor crop health, and collect field data.
• Assist with agronomy trials, plot work, and research projects.
• Utilize precision agriculture tools for scouting and data collection.
• Travel to FS locations to build relationships with employees and customers.
