Job summary

Federated Co-ops is seeking an Agronomy Service Representative in Osceola, WI. You will support farmers in planning, ordering, and utilizing crop nutrients, crop protection products, seeds, and energy products.

responsiblities include coordinating farm plans, maintaining customer relationships, and assisting with in-store sales and service delivery, with extended hours during peak seasons.

Qualifications

• Associate or Bachelor's degree in Agronomy and Crop Science or equivalent.
• Active custom applicator license or ability to obtain.
• Active CDL or ability to obtain CDL and endorsements.
• Two to four years related experience working with farmers and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Agriculture background and sales experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan farm calls with Location Manager and Sales Manager to contact current customers.
• Manage a suite of existing Federated customers and build relationships.
• Track all calls and contacts on Federated web-based sales contacts and leads.
• Coordinate product orders and secure fertilizer, chemical and service needs.
• Support in-store counter sales and assist with invoicing and inventory.
• Attend monthly sales meetings and support custom application services.
