Agoutcomes is seeking a Field Operations Specialist in Ankeny, IA to support enrollment in the Soil and Water Outcomes Fund. You will verify data, provide agronomic guidance, and conduct field checks during peak seasons while maintaining excellent farmer relationships.

The role emphasizes collaboration with staff and farmers, strong data quality control, and practical agronomy advice across conservation practices.

Qualifications

• Associate or bachelor’s degree in agronomy, environmental sciences, agricultural engineering, biological sciences, or related fields.
• Strong understanding of Midwest cropping systems and conservation practices.
• Able to work in a team and independently to meet project deliverables.

Responsibilities

• Collect and process agricultural data and field boundaries for enrollment.
• Verify and validate climate-smart practice adoption for contract compliance.
• Provide agronomy and conservation advice to enrolled farmers.
• Perform QA/QC on data provided by farmers.
• Analyze outcomes data from third parties and interpret results.
• Maintain strong relationships with farmers and communicate effectively.
