Job summary

Country Visions Cooperative in Fond du Lac invites you to join the Agronomy Team. Deliver seeds, fertilizers, and chemicals safely from plant to field sites, working in coordination with applicators and field personnel.

This role offers a Monday–Friday schedule with occasional weekend hours during peak seasons, competitive hourly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Must possess, or be able to obtain a Tanker Endorsement and a valid Class A CDL.
• Clean driving record and ability to lift 60 pounds.
• Clear written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Ability to read maps and follow directions.

Responsibilities

• Deliver seed, dry fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, premixed chemicals or packaged products by truck.
• Tendering dry and liquid products to field applicators.
• Work independently or in a team environment.
• Work with fertilizer and chemicals in field operations.

Compensation

• Competitive pay – $21.00 to $30.00+ per hour. Base pay and step increases are dependent upon having a valid Class A CDL, and prior experience
• If needed, we will help you obtain a Class A CDL, and provide a 100% reimbursement

Job Responsibilities

• Deliver seed, dry fertilizer, liquid fertilizer, premixed chemicals or packaged products with a pickup truck, straight dry or liquid tender or semi-truck with a hopper bottom or liquid tanker
• Tendering dry and liquid products to applicators operating application equipment in the fields
• Successful work independently or in a team environment
• Working with fertilizer and chemicals

Hours

• Typical work week is Monday through Friday
• Some Saturday and Sunday hours expected during May and June (Spring Season)
• Some unpredictable and extended work hours including seasonally extended

Qualifications and Educational Requirements

• Prior experience is preferred but not required
• Must possess, or be able to obtain a Tanker Endorsement and a valid Class A CDL. Don’t have these, no problem! Country Visions Cooperative offers 100% reimbursement
• Must have a clean driving record
• Clearly communicate both written and verbal
• Ability to work with minimal supervision
• Ability to troubleshoot equipment and repair as necessary
• Ability to read maps and follow directions
