Responsibilities

Agroomy Associate

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Basic mechanical skills
• Strong literacy skills including reading and writing
• Ability to obtain and maintain forklift certification.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Valid License with acceptable MVR
• Previous agricultural, agronomy, warehouse, or equipment operation experience preferred.

Assist with preventative maintenance and routine inspections of plant equipment to maximize operational efficiency, minimize downtime, and extend the life of company assets.

Receive, handle, store, and load agronomy products in a safe and efficient manner according to company procedures and regulatory requirements.

Operate receiving systems, conveyors, pumps, and other facility equipment to ensure accurate and timely product intake.

Run dry fertilizer, liquid and seed buildings.

Load dry fertilizer, liquid trucks and treat seed.

Ability to work in fast-paced environment.

Safely operate forklifts, loaders, and other material-handling equipment to load customer orders and transfer inventory throughout the facility.

Fulfill customer orders accurately and efficiently, ensuring products are prepared, loaded, and delivered according to customer specifications.

Maintain accurate records of inventory transactions, product movement, equipment inspections, maintenance activities, and other required operational reports.

Perform housekeeping duties to keep facilities, equipment, and work areas clean, organized, safe, and environmentally compliant.

Assist with inventory management, including stock monitoring, product rotation, and cycle counts.

Provide exceptional customer service by maintaining a positive, professional, and courteous attitude in all interactions with customers, coworkers, vendors, and visitors.

Support seasonal agronomy operations, including fertilizer, seed, and crop protection product handling and distribution.

Follow all company policies, safety procedures, environmental regulations, and industry best practices to ensure the safety of employees, customers, and the community.

Participate in safety meetings, training programs, and continuous improvement initiatives.

Perform additional duties and responsibilities as assigned to support the overall success of agronomy operations.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds regularly.

Ability to safely operate machinery and equipment in a fast-paced agricultural environment.

ENVIRONMENT FACTORS

This position operates in a combination of warehouse and outdoor agricultural environments. Employees may be exposed to dust, noise, moving machinery, and varying weather conditions while performing job duties. Appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) must be worn as required.
