Job summary

Farmers New Ag in Northwood, IA is seeking a reliable farm operations associate responsible for applying crop protection products, delivering agronomy supplies, and supporting grain operations while maintaining safety and efficiency. The role requires a Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements, DOT medical certification, and the ability to obtain a Commercial Applicator’s License.

You will operate sprayers, trucks, and related equipment; maintain clean facilities; and work extended hours

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid Class A CDL with tanker and HazMat endorsements.
• Commercial Applicator’s License or ability to obtain one.
• DOT physical every 2 years as required by law.
• High school diploma or GED; 1–3 months related experience.
• Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions.
• Ability to carry out written or verbal instructions with common sense.

Responsibilities

• Operate spraying equipment, tender trucks, and NH3 equipment.
• Assist in loading and unloading of vehicles based on work orders.
• Operate a semi-truck in the off-season as needed.
• Maintain neat, clean, and well-maintained work areas and equipment.
• Work extended hours during busy season to ensure good customer service.
