Job Description:

Scott Equity Exchange is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Agronomy Applicator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise application of fertilizers, herbicides, pesticides, and other crop protection products. Your work will help ensure healthy crops and optimal yields for our clients. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with a strong background in agriculture and a commitment to safety and precision.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Safely operate and maintain application equipment (sprayers, spreaders, etc.).
  • Accurately apply fertilizers, pesticides, herbicides, and other crop protection products.
  • Calibrate application equipment to ensure proper rates and coverage.
  • Maintain detailed application records in compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.
  • Conduct routine equipment maintenance and troubleshooting.
  • Assist in loading and unloading of products and materials as needed.
  • Provide excellent customer service and communicate with clients regarding their application needs.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and environmental guidelines.

Job Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required; additional education in agronomy or related fields is a plus.
  • Experience operating agricultural machinery or applicator equipment preferred.
  • Valid applicator’s license or willingness to obtain one.
  • Knowledge of chemical handling, mixing, and proper application techniques.
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Ability to work outdoors in varying weather conditions and perform physical tasks.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to maintain records and follow regulations.
