Job summary

Sierra Nevada Brewing Co. is seeking an Agriculture Technician to support grounds, irrigation, and horticulture tasks across the brewery properties. You’ll help with planting, landscape maintenance, and seasonal harvest, contributing to sustainability goals and the company’s care for the environment.

The role emphasizes outdoor work in varied weather, with opportunities for training and career growth alongside an established craft brewery.

Qualifications

Basic literacy skills required.
Previous experience in horticulture or agriculture preferred.
Experience with hand tools and machinery (pruners, shovels, rakes, hand saws, lawn mowers, blowers, trimmers, tractors, lifts).
Ability to use hand tools, power tools, tractors, and lifts.
Must follow all safety protocols.
Valid driver’s license with no major violations in last three years.
Must be at least 18 years old and pass a background check.

Responsibilities

Perform seasonal planting, garden and vegetable propagation, general garden maintenance and harvest.
Maintain brewery grounds, parking, trees and shrubs, and control weeds.
Install and maintain irrigation systems.
Carry out greenhouse duties and maintain plants.
Support natural resources and livestock tasks.
Transport equipment and supplies between sites.
Participate in safety training and professional development.
