Job summary

CNH Industrial in Goodfield, Illinois, is seeking a summer/fall co-op to work with engineers in the Innovation group on construction, testing and evaluation of concepts. You will help prepare prototype machines for field testing and assist with experimental designs.

This paid internship provides mentorship, hands-on experience, housing support, and networking opportunities; candidates must be enrolled in a degree program and available February through August.

Qualifications

• Candidates must be currently enrolled college students actively pursuing a degree to participate in the internship program.

Responsibilities

• Preparing prototype machines for field testing - installing prototype components, making parts, equipment maintenance, changing equipment configurations.
• Work with project team on experimental designs to test and validate concepts being developed.
• Operate prototype test machines in the field - executing on field test plans and validating concepts.
• Reviewing field test results and ideating on concept development with project teams.
• Work with Agronomy team to support agronomy trials (operate test machines, data collection, data analysis, etc.).
• Travel as needed to other CNH facilities and remote test sites to support test preparation and execution.
• Participate and provide input into meetings where Innovation provides updates to product platforms and other internal teams.
