Job summary

The State of Oregon's Agriculture Department is hiring an Agriculture Services Laborer for the Hermiston Shipping Point District. This seasonal, part-time role supports the inspection, grading, and certification of Oregon commodities for export, working in a warehouse or processing plant.

You'll join SPI program staff to provide inspections and issue phytosanitary certificates, assisting producers statewide.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to regularly lift objects 50-60 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Sort and grade commodities in a warehouse or processing plant.
• Assist with field inspections and sample processing.
• Support other Agriculture Services Division activities as needed.
• Provide inspections and issue phytosanitary certificates as part of SPI program.
