General Purpose and Scope of Position:

The Production Worker's primary role is to assist in all aspects of production, quality control, maintenance, and facility cleanliness. Responsibilities include packaging, filling, formulation assistance, or housekeeping. Candidates should be self-motivated team players capable of working efficiently to meet customer demand.

Key Skills and Abilities:
  • Must be at least 18 years old
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience required
  • Willingness to operate material handling equipment, including forklift
  • Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Manual dexterity; able to stand for long periods and work in a production environment
  • Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and complete documentation; proficiency in reading and writing English
  • Willing to work overtime as needed

Responsibilities and Key Deliverables:
  • Set up production lines according to schedule
  • Inspect materials for cleanliness and integrity; report issues
  • Blend materials in assigned mixers following workflow
  • Document all job-related tasks
  • Learn and train in all plant roles (mixing, bagging, forklift, loading)
  • Operate processing equipment per SOPs
  • Maintain cleanliness throughout operations
  • Perform quality control checks
  • Accurately document processing, maintenance, and cleaning tasks
  • Report safety or food safety issues; stop production if necessary
  • Maintain training standards
  • Comply with Food Safety Guidelines, SOPs, FDA, OSHA, and applicable laws
  • Contribute positively to team environment
  • Perform additional duties as assigned professionally and efficiently
  • Follow all safety, regulatory, and administrative policies
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Hourly wage ranges from $15.96 to $21.28, depending on location, skills, and experience
