Job summary

Job description

Drives and operates farm machinery installed with GPS to perform farm activities of plant cultivating and harvesting of crops such as wheat and corn. The workers will drive tractors and operate designated towing equipment, disks, and drags to furrow and fertilize the soil. Must be able to work independently after given instructions. Workers will haul harvested crops with supplies, fertilizer, and equipment to fields with trucks and the destination will be storage on the farm or local elevators. There will be no commercial hauling and the items that are hauled are owned by the employer. No CDL is required.

Employees must have valid driver's licenses or obtain one in 60 days.

Cell phone usage is limited to business-related calls only. NO TEXTING.

No smoking in equipment, housing, vehicles, or grounds.

No drinking of alcoholic beverages during working hours is otherwise discouraged.

No Educational level is required.

Must have three months of tractor driving with towed implements and operate computerized monitors.

Housing: Employer-provided (including mobile or range)

Meals: Workers will have a fully furnished kitchen where they can make their own meals. When they cannot return to their home base for meals they will be provided with lunch coolers where they can pack their lunches.

They will have transportation to the closest supermarket store where they can purchase their groceries and personal items once a week.

Transport: Upon completion, 50% of the contract Employer will reimburse the worker's cost of airfare and daily subsistence a minimum reimbursement of $ 16.78 per day and a maximum reimbursement of $ 68.00 per day. (Receipts required) from the place of recruitment (inbound) to the placement of work. Upon completion of the contract employer will pay the return airfare cost (outbound) to place of recruitment unless the worker does not return to original recruitment location or an extension has been filed.
