Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Five years of related experience in agricultural production and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Supervise operation and maintenance of all facilities and land resources; manage purchases and expenditures for the Agriculture Center; coordinate repairs and alterations of facilities and equipment.
• Coordinate and assist in preparing livestock and facilities for judging contests, workshops, and other events.
• Attend training, seminars and workshops on personnel management, performance evaluation, and related topics.
• Recommend merit increases, promotions, and other personnel actions in consultation with the Dean.
• Maintain an up-to-date accounting system by enterprise; handle inventories and accounting records for all enterprises and equipment.
• Maintain work schedules, leaves, and ensure continuity of operations.
• Coordinate resources for teaching and research activities with faculty; support scheduled labs and field exercises.
• Participate in staff meetings; hire and supervise student workers and process time sheets.
