Job summary

Sydenstricker Nobbe Partners is seeking a skilled Service Technician to perform diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment, both in the shop and in the field. You will mentor trainees, participate in customer clinics, and ensure accurate documentation and timely submission of work orders.

Applicants should have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and experience with basic computer tools. CDL is a plus. The role requires safety-conscious work in a busy service department.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent; associat es degree preferred.
• Valid driver’s license; CDL preferred.
• Experience communicating effectively verbally and in writing.
• Experience working cooperatively in a team environment.
• Experience with basic computer functions; Service ADVISOR or similar tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on John Deere equipment and technology.
• Mentors Service Technician Trainees and Service Technicians.
• Supports customer clinics and field diagnostics as required.
• Accountable for billable time and work orders.
• Documents diagnostics and repairs thoroughly and timely.
• Operates and maintains vehicles, tools, and equipment.
• Maintains a clean, safe work area and follows safety rules.
