Job summary

C & B Operations is seeking a Service Tech for its Tracy, Minnesota location. You will diagnose, service, and repair John Deere and related agricultural equipment for customers and dealers.

The role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Qualified applicants should have an associate degree in Diesel Technology or related field, strong mechanical/electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of exertion while performing duties.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid driver’s license and safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participate in required training programs to develop skills.
• Complete all job notes and document materials used.
• Maintain clean work area and orderly work practices.
• Promote and sell service work and parts to customers.
• Follow safety procedures and work safely.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.
