Qualifications

• Proven track record applying ML/AI to spatial/Earth observation data.
• Experience with multi-source satellite imagery (optical, thermal, radar).
• Proficiency in Python, R, or cloud-based geospatial platforms.
• Excellent communication to translate concepts for domestic stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Execute applied research on agricultural Earth observation-driven solutions for diverse stakeholders.
• Develop and scale remote sensing, modeling, and geospatial analytics methods for monitoring and decision-making.
• Apply geospatial AI/ML workflows to extract actionable insights from multi-source datasets.
• Support research and application development on agricultural conditions and risk.
• Integrate Earth observation with models, climate data, and stakeholder information.
• Translate results into actionable, end-user tools and reports.
• Lead publications, data products, and conference presentations.
