Job summary

Double L is seeking a Product Development Mechanical Engineer in the Dyersville area to lead the design and development of agricultural ventilation products. You will manage projects from concept to production, prototype and test designs, and work with manufacturing to ensure smooth transitions to production.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on engineering experience, strong problem-solving skills, and the ability to drive projects across multiple teams in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering is required.
• 2+ years of mechanical design or product development experience.
• Proficiency with SolidWorks or equivalent 3D CAD software.
• Strong understanding of mechanical design principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead product development projects from concept through production launch.
• Create production-ready models, drawings, and BOMs in SolidWorks.
• Develop test plans, prototypes, and validate designs through testing.
• Collaborate with manufacturing and suppliers to resolve issues.
