Job summary

C & B Operations, LLC is hiring a John Deere Service Technician in Pipestone, Minnesota. You will diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of John Deere and competing products.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field.
• Ability to meet physical demands including lifting and standing.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of repair methods for machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and work overtime when needed.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs for skill development.
• Completes all job notes and uses digital timecards for tasks and materials.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Keeps work area clean and organized, and maintains vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Promotes the service department to increase service work and parts sales.
