Job summary

Hutson, Inc. is seeking a skilled technician to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on large agricultural equipment. The role includes ongoing training, keeping up-to-date with John Deere and competitive products, and maintaining vehicles, inventory and tools in a clean, safe work environment.

The technician will complete reports, log time and materials, and support management in achieving company goals while working either independently or as part of a team.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; Associate degree preferred.
• Ability to perform advanced repairs and maintenance using manuals and tools.
• Proficient knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required for road technicians.
• Forklift and respirator certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on large agricultural equipment.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE training programs.
• Maintains current knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment.
• Keeps work area clean and orderly; completes all required reports and time/material forms.
• Accounts for all time on time card and all material used.
• Supports management in pursuing company policies, goals and long-term objectives.
