Job summary

Hutson Inc. is seeking a skilled Technician to perform advanced diagnostics, service repairs, and maintenance on large agricultural and turf equipment at our Michigan location. You will learn within Hutson's Service Business Model while applying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic expertise.

Responsibilities include completing reports, maintaining tools, and staying current with John Deere products; DOT card may be required for road technicians. Training and growth opportunities are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required; Associates degree preferred.
• Repair and maintenance using manuals and tools following procedures.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems.
• Ability to use Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Valid DOT Medical Card required (road technicians only).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on equipment.
• Participate in required Service EDUCATE training programs.
• Maintain knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Keep vehicles, inventory, tools, and workspace in good condition.
• Complete all reports and time/material usage forms.
• Accurately log time and materials on timecards.
• Support management in pursuing policies and objectives.
