Job summary

Hutson, Inc. is seeking a Full Time Technician in Corunna, MI to perform advanced diagnostics and repairs on large agricultural equipment. You will learn within the Hutson Service Business Model and participate in ongoing training programs.

The role requires knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems, and competence with Service Advisor and basic computer use. Benefits include 401(k) matching, health savings accounts, PTO and holidays.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required; Associate degree preferred.
• Repair and maintenance on agricultural or turf equipment following manuals.
• Knowledge of mechanical, electrical and hydraulic systems in equipment.
• Proficient use of Service Advisor and basic computer functions.
• Ability to diagnose and operate diagnostic equipment for vehicles and equipment.
• Willingness to work independently or as part of a team; strong communication.
• Detail oriented with good written and spoken communication skills.
• DOT Medical Card required for road technicians; forklift and respirator certs are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Performs advanced diagnostics and repairs on small ag and turf equipment and AMS products.
• Participates in Service EDUCATE Training programs for skills development.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitor products.
• Keeps vehicles, inventory, tools and equipment in good condition.
• Maintains a clean, neat and orderly work area and completes required forms.
• Records all time and material used on each job.
• Supports management with policies, plans and long-term objectives.
