Job summary

C & B Operations seeks an experienced John Deere Technician for our Rexburg, ID location. You will diagnose and repair agricultural equipment, complete accurate work notes, and manage time and materials using digital timecards.

The role emphasizes safety, product knowledge, and customer service as you support service and parts departments. Qualifications include an associate degree in Diesel Tech or related field, strong teamwork, and the ability to work overtime.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field, preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in the repair of machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs required for skills development.
• Completes all job notes required with work assignments.
• Accounts for all time on a digital timecard and for materials used.
• Maintains current product knowledge of John Deere and competitors.
• Maintains a clean, neat, and orderly work area.
• Maintains condition of vehicles, inventory, tools, and equipment.
• Promotes and sells the service department to customers (service, inspections, parts).
• Follows safety procedures and works in a safe manner.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
