Job summary

C & B Operations in Rexburg, ID is seeking an experienced John Deere Technician. You will diagnose, service, and repair agricultural equipment at the Rexburg location, with emphasis on safety, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires teamwork, mechanical/electrical/hydraulic expertise, and willingness to train in new technologies. On-site schedule includes full-time hours with growth potential and benefits.

Qualifications

• Associates or better in Diesel Technology or related field is preferred.
• Ability to meet physical demands and duration of physical exertion in job functions.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Knowledge of methods, materials, tools and techniques used in repair of machinery, engines and related equipment.
• Experience with mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Ability for critical thinking and resourcefulness.
• Willingness to learn and train in new technologies.
• Ability to work overtime to meet customer demands.
• Valid Driver's License and a safe driving record.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostics and repairs on agricultural farm equipment.
• Participates in training programs to develop skills and knowledge.
• Completes all job notes and records time and materials used.
• Maintains knowledge of John Deere and competitive products.
• Maintains clean and safe work area and orderly tools and equipment.
• Promotes and sells service department to customers (service work, inspections, parts).
• Follows safety procedures and works in a safe manner.
• Assists with other duties as assigned.
