Job summary

American Crystal Sugar Company seeks an Ag Repairman to install, modify and maintain beet receiving facilities, including truck scales, pilers, loaders, and inventory components. You will lead safety initiatives and training within the plant, ensuring reliable operations and adherence to safety standards.

You will plan and execute maintenance tasks, operate heavy equipment, and create work orders in the CMMS, estimating time and materials. A strong mechanical aptitude and CDL are required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• DOT physical examination (health card) required within 10 days of offer and must meet DOT requirements.
• Must pass Mechanical Aptitude, Basic Skills and Welding tests.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• CDL Class A or B license required within 45 days of employment.

Responsibilities

• Plan job details with no direct supervision.
• Safely operate pay loader, skidsteer loader and sugarbeet piler.
• Create work orders in CMMS, estimating time and materials.
• Verify stock status on parts for maintenance activities.
• Use troubleshooting to resolve issues.
